During the months of July 1993 and July 1994, we at the Paris American Academy in Paris had the fortune to work with Rolf Andersen as a Professor in Fine Art.

After assigning Rolf Andersen in 1992 to work as a mentor with our student Carmen Sherbert in New York City, we invited him to teach at The Paris American Academy here in Paris for the summer month of July 1993 and again for the month of July 1994. It became very clear to us that Rolf Andersen not only was an exceptional artist and craftsman, but he was also a dedicated teacher.

Patiently he guided the students in the disciplines of oil painting, watercolor, pastel, and drawing, He encouraged the students to develop their personal style and at the same time enabled them to understand how to communicate with color, perspective, and the use of positive and negative space.

I can without doubt recommend Rolf Andersen to be an asset for anyone who is in need of a successful teacher and artist.
